Cho Oyu (8201m), The 6th Highest Peak in the World

Austrian first climbs Cho Oyu in 1954. The Indian and German team later climbed this peak in 1958 and 1964 respectively. Till today many expedition teams have successfully reached the summit. The year 2004 was celebrated as the Golden jubilee of the first ascent of Cho Oyu.

Most of the expedition teams climb from Tibet side due to the easy access of climbing route.
